National Radio and Television Correspondents Convention (Washington, DC, 1976)

Performed Musical Numbers as a singer and trombone player with 20 others - sharing the bill with Chevy Chase performing for the first time next to and for President Gerald Ford at the presidential podium with John Belushi and Dan Akroyd dressed as his Secret Service Agents to pick Chase up each time he took a pratfall. The audience included 2,000 politicians and luminaries from the press and show business.

Juggling, unicycle, stilts, stunts, falls, clowning, mime, trombone, One-man band, announcing, various forms of dance, stunt bowling.

Training

Scene-study master class work with Geraldine Page, Bill Gile, Frank Corsaro, and Otto Preminger. (Preminger once called Mr. Harris "a perfect actor" after a performance. Of course, that day it might have been indigestion... he was very old.) Mr. Harris has also weathered some of the most creative insults handed out by old-school clowns who had been with Ringling from the days when they were under tent.

Nightclub comedy performances, industrial films (starred in one with Calvert DeForest a.k.a. Larry "Bud" Melman), radio DJ, comedic-movement teacher, tour guide, clown makeup teacher, Artistic Director of the Bowlerama and the co-inventor of Feel-O-Vision.
